The Mezze, Downend 01179 141101 - 8 minutes drive away

What a lovely greek restaurant, newly opened.  Fantastic greek food, including vegetarian mezzes, fish mezzes and meat mezzes.  Open all day and take orders up until 10.30 pm.  Beautiful interior design.  Very comfortable.

The Crown, Tolldown  01225 891166 - 10 minutes drive away

A fine dining pub serving excellent food .  You can book a table – lovely atmosphere. 10 minutes drive.  Taxi about £11.00 each way.  If you like seafood, the mussels are to die for – they’re huge and beautifully cooked – you get an enormous bowl full even for a starter.  The steaks are cooked to perfection, the deserts are wonderful.

Bottollinos – Italian Restaurant  - 1 mile away by car
Seats about 100 people, 1 mile away – lively – great pasta and pizza, excellent service.  reasonably priced.  They have a bar area downstairs and a lovely restaurant area upstairs.  They take reservations for tables.  Taxi to Bottollinos is £5.00 each way approximately.  I can also book the taxi for you.  Great for a Friday night meal. Food orders taken up until 10pm. 

The Bull at Hinton – 6 – 8 minutes drive
Lovely home made food – serve lots of fish specials – the deserts are also home made.  They take table reservations.

Rose and Crown, Pucklechurch

A lovely olde worlde pub in the village, nothing incredible on the menu, but if you want a pretty quiet village pub, this is it. Menu is quite small though

Chef and Brewer pub - nothing exciting on the menu, but does specials on the blackboard - excellent waitress service.  They don't take table reservations.

Lovely Indian Restaurant - pretty restaurant - delicious indian cuisine - also take-awy service.
